Its purpose is to verify that the relevant environmental variables that were the object of the environmental assessment are evolving as planned. Having clearly defined the environmental component that will be subject to measurement and control, the environmental impact and the associated measure, the location of the control points and the parameters used, among other variables.

In a process of diagnosis and verification of compliance with environmental obligations, aiming to achieve optimum performance in compliance with current regulations, avoiding external vulnerabilities that include conflicts with local communities, project stoppage, sanctioning procedures and high fines, among others.
